Many clients use a home equity line or a renovation loan. Our partner lender understands remodel draws.
Lender: partner lender name. Example payment: shown with APR and term as the lender requires. Illustrative, not an offer of credit.
Questions about money
What does the design consultation cost?
The first consultation is free: an hour at your house, talking through what you want and walking the rooms. If you go ahead, the design phase is a fixed fee, agreed in writing. (Sample terms; the owner sets them.)
When do we get a price?
Before demolition. The design phase ends with a written scope and a fixed price for the build, with allowances listed line by line. You sign it, or you take the drawings and walk away.
What happens if something changes during the build?
You get a written change order with the price and the effect on the schedule before the work is done. Nothing is added to an invoice that you did not sign.
